We are very pleased to invite you to another Evening With session. This time, we will be joined by Rachel Martin-Peer – a London Cabbie.
Rachel has changed direction in her life many times. From teaching children and adults to running her own business in markets (and travelling all the way to India to buy her products), Rachel has led a very interesting and varied life.
Rachel is now a London Cabbie of 9 years. In the last three years, Rachel has added another badge and is now a tour guide too. Rachel both knows and understands London, and thoroughly enjoys its history. On her tours, Rachel shows off the city’s heritage from 43 AD (when the Romans came) to the present day.
In her talk, Rachel will discuss her journey of becoming a Cabbie. Her talk will tie in with the history of London and will give you the opportunity to learn more about our wonderful city!
