Life after a Brain Injury – Get Involved!
For at least 1 million* people in the UK, surviving a brain injury is only the beginning of rebuilding a life.
The effects can be behavioural, physical, social, cognitive, in personality or any combination/all of these.
Help improve the lives of those who have survived an Acquired Brain Injury by taking part in our event!
Each year at Marshall Street Pool charities come together to raise the funds for their respective causes. This year is no different at FAABI where we will be raising funds to improve the lives of those who have survived brain injury living in London. Teams swimming on behalf of FAABI in October 2015 are a necessary part of our yearly fundraising.
We run social and physical rehabilitation events and workshops for ABI survivors including:
- Movie Night
- Physio Sessions: ARNI (Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury)
- Conversation Groups
- Offsite Events
- Law for Life
We are in need of:
Innovative and organised individuals to raise teams and ensure donations
The heart of the event, those sponsored to swim in aid of FAABI
Committed individuals to create as much publicity as possible for the event and bring in sponsorship
If you would like to get involved, please contact us as firstname.lastname@example.org ensuring ‘FAABI Swim’ is in the subject line, and letting us know which position(s) you are interested in.
