……. It’s a FAABI Newsflash!
Discussion Group This Thursday
This is an event organised by FAABI.
This group is particularly suitable for FAABI members who may have some communication difficulties, for example aphasia.
Aphasia, a less widely known terminology, for a communication disability, usually caused by a brain injury or a stroke. Aphasia means that you can think clearly, but it can be hard to find the right words.
During this session, the group will have the opportunity to discuss some popular topics in a relaxed and comfortable setting, with limited distractions. There will also be a break, where the members will be able to have some refreshments, courtesy of Attend. The aim will be to improve your conversation skills and confidence.
